30th Anniversary Promo

The Joint Projects Committee has formed a subcommittee of volunteers to focus on Jump Rope For Heart’s 30th Anniversary in the 2008-2009 school year.  The committee has come up with a quick list of 30th Anniversary Celebration ideas for conventions and events.  The committee will be working throughout the year with National, District, and State Associations to promote Jump’s 30th Anniversary.  If you do something special for Jump’s 30th Anniversary, don’t forget to tell us about it and send pics!  You could be the feature story in the next edition of The Pulse!

Preliminary Ideas for Promoting Jump Rope For Heart’s 30th Anniversary

• Give 30th Anniversary Pins to coordinators at State/District Conventions
• Create 30th Anniversary stickers (for event participants)
• Have a 30th Anniversary sticker/poster design contest
• Give a Coordinator's Ribbon at State/District Conventions (it could be placed at the Heart Booth, and coordinators could sign their names with years of participation)
• Hearts in packets for sponsors to fill out in honor or memory of an individual
• The Pulse will feature articles and individuals from 30 Years ago (please send articles to ctaylor@aahperd.org)
• Encourage sponsors to give $30 donations to celebrate the 30 years
• 30 second jump contests
• 30 jump rope skills
